Designed to shade your eyes from the sun and rain while riding and worn backwards to protect the back of the neck from the sun. According to some people another traditional way to keep your head cool when cycling in hot conditions was to put a cabbage leaf under the casquette. The bill says TART on top and VINEGAR on the inside. Red
