Lounge Chair, 1940s MargretheA fine, classical armchair designed by architect Orla Molgaard Nielsen and produced by Fritz Hansen Eft. in Allerd, Demark in the 1940s. In the 1930s 1940s Fritz Hansen produced some of the best examples of traditionally upholstered armchairs in Denmark. They achieved great success by collaborating with young architects such as Orla Molgaard Nielsen who had studied under Kaare Klint at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen. This example has been refurbished
