The blade is used for cutting and thinning the leather. The handle is not glued to allow maintenance (the blade is friction fit in the handle and very secure). Harden then tempered at 55HRC Kurouchi (blacksmith finish), flat single bevel, satin. Weight : 81gr Wa handle made from one piece of English Elm 120mm length

It a pure slicer and will bend nicely when cutting boneless meat and fish

Allow to work close to bones without damaging the blade
