they've imposed on this young Lagavulin a finishing in tequila barrels from their own Don Julio brand

it’s just… malty

A bottling I usually adore on the occasions I’ve tried it in the past

But we love all the rest

With water: putty

a wee whiff of rosewood… What a fantastic nose
