Vintage collectable 1940's Burgess & Leigh Art Deco parrot jug designed by Ernest Bailey H & C (Haas & Czjzek) - Czech RepublicA stunning Art Deco 1940's Burgess & Leigh parrot jug designed by Ernest Bailey. It weighs 0. 73 kg. Its height is 18. 5 cm, its diameter is 13 cm at its widest point. The jug is in excellent condition. The mark on the base is "Burleigh Ware" and "Burgess & Leigh" over the Bee Hive Trade Mark with "EST" and "1851" on either side and "BURSLEM ENGLAND" underneath. In addition there is a hand written "6935". Collector's item.
