Antique Edwardian Albert Chain With Victorian Coin 17.5 Inch Semi-Precious Stones_AgateThis distinguished antique Edwardian Albert chain was crafted by the renowned Birmingham jewellers Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd in 1902 the very year of King Edward VIIs coronation. The chain is composed of solid silver curb and Figaro links, each stamped with an authentic sterling lion passant, and has been richly overlaid in sunny 18ct yellow gold. The chain retains its original T bar and dog clips, each bearing the makers mark and Birmingham

The stones are mounted in domed silver closed-back settings and are linked by a delicate silver paper-clip chain

AGE: Circa 1940 - 1950

They each have a semi-transparent appearance with a ghostly blue glow

It features graduating curb links
