There are two neighbouring properties with the same name

1996 was a good year for California especially for Cabernet Sauvignon

including Edouard Lawton (the wolf of his family crest adorns the Léoville Poyferré labels to this day)

The original Chateau remains in Lynch Moussas

the winery was abandoned during prohibition and it wasn't until 1979 when the property was bought and restored
