AMACO – Cone 05-10 - V375 Maroon Size:2oz.Product Description Maroon Velvet Underglaze is a deep burgundy color that is soft and rich at cone 05, deepens at cone 5, and begins to burn out at cone 10. A clear glaze deepens the color of the underglaze significantly at cone 05 and intensifies its rich oxblood shade at cone 5. Safety Warning Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination. (V)

It is not fluid like many gloss glazes - it behaves more like a traditional underglaze as it "stays put" where it is applied
