Large Pitch Woman Mask WhaleThis Pitch Woman Mask is carved in red cedar by Russell Tate from the Ditidaht First Nation on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island. The mask is painted in green, red, blue, and black acrylic and features cedar bark for the hair. Russell remembers being told about Pitch Woman from his grandmother. She cautioned that children who walked off into the woods alone were at risk of being kidnapped by Pitch Woman, so named because she would put pitch in

The pendant is close to 2 inches or 5 centimeters long and wide
These Haida Abstract Earrings are hand-carved in Sterling Silver by Derek White from the Haida Nation and signed on the back
which turned out to be a wonderful experience
On top of the mask at the back Talon carved a split skull design (see last image)
