The veins are even a darker purple red, adding interest. The tree grows slowly, attaining a height of 5 6 ft tall and 4 5 ft wide in 10 years. The name translates as 'soft drizzle'. Plant in full sun, or partial shade for a happy tree, and give it good draining soil with lots of organic matter. Hardy to zone 5.
