1989 Mackillop's Choice Single Cask Tomintoul Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Speyside, Scotland winesColour: Pale gold. Nose: Fruity, floral and roasted nuts, toasted bread, malt and honey at first sniffs, but gets fruitier over time (papayas, tangerines) More honey, pollen, nectar after a while, with faint hints of smoke and leathery notes. Not far from absolute aromatic balance. Mouth: Caramelly and nutty. Maltier than on the nose, with also a little liquorice, resin and honey. Finish: Medium long but again, very balanced, on malt and caramel.
