We use Cornish Danish oil, this is natural oil, low in toxicity. Fabric Sling newly covered with two layers of vintage fabric, with strong canvas sandwiched in the middle. Canvas original canvas. We do not replace the inner canvas, unless necessary. New canvas increases the cost
