Vedrenne Ratafia de Bourgogne 18.5% 700ml 1883Ratafia de Bourgogne a fortified, unfermented Burgundian aperitif at 18. 5%, in the same family as Pineau des Charentes but with a fruitier Pinot Noir Gamay character. Pressed Burgundy grape juice (Pinot Noir Gamay) blended with old Marc de Bourgogne to block fermentation, retaining the natural grape sugar; produced in Nuits Saint Georges. Nose: Fresh Pinot grape juice, raisined fruit, soft Burgundy oak. Palate: Sweet grape weight with the marc lift
