tant gron tant brun och tant gredelin 3 augusteA beautiful illustration from Elsa Beskow's children's book series "Aunt Green, Aunt Brown and Aunt Gredelin", which was first published in 1939. In the illustration, we see Aunt Grn busy tending to the garden, an activity that many of Beskow's characters often do in her books. Beside her stands a little girl, wearing a simple white dress and a small basket in her hand. Presumably the girl is on her way to help Aunt Grn with all the gardening. Elsa
