I was excited to paint that moment in my studio

We were on a vacation to Tahoe and I brought my painting supplies and set up at the beach on a perfect June day

I'm always drawn to the blue shadows on the snow in winter time

Inspired by a painting day with my friend Ashley of her favorite beach

at Hobble Creek

It's one of my favorite paintings that I've done of the beach because some magic happened in capturing the light and colors of a warm sunny day at the beach

I love the way the snow soaks up the blue reflection of the sky and all the shadows are shades of blue

with rustic live edge pine frame

And the iconic T-street bridge and palm trees will always have my heart
