This board comes with all of the surface mount parts pre soldered. This means you'll only need to solder a handful of components: Controller hot swap sockets Controllers (nice! nano or ProMicro NRF52840) EVQWGD001 Roller encoders Display sockets for either the Vista272 nice! view or Vista508 Batteries Includes Shield

You should not disable external power control if you have an attached display as special control instructions will not be sent to the display when the CPU goes to sleep
